About Us
Founded in 1987 by Ian Twaddle, Sidat Security began with a focus on multi-tenant high-rise security and advanced installations for industrial and defence sites. Ian’s early work in electrical engineering, pneumatics, hydraulics, and automation laid the foundation for a company built on technical expertise, practical solutions, and attention to detail.
Today, as part of the Commodore Security Group, Sidat Security delivers commercial, retail, education, and construction site security across Australia, with coordinated support for clients operating in New Zealand.
